Deutsche Post employee fundraising campaign: 1,100 euros for children’s cancer research

The Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer received special visitors today:
Ms Angeliki Kakali (Works Council of Deutsche Post) and Mr Seref Yurdakul (Deutsche Post) presented us with a donation of 1,100 euros, which was raised by selling cakes at a postal event together with the Verdi works group.

Our guests were then given a personal insight into the laboratories by Dr Meike Vogler, a scientist from the EPHO research group (Institute for Experimental Paediatric Haematology and Oncology). It became clear how crucial continuous support is for research into child-appropriate therapies.

We would like to thank all Deutsche Post employees involved for this strong sign of solidarity. Your commitment helps us to advance research for the benefit of children with cancer.
