Fines and Penalties
Saving lives with your allocation: fines and penalties help children with cancer — directly and effectively.
Allocations of fines or penalty payments are an important pillar in financing our non-profit research work. They enable research at the highest scientific level — for effective therapies of tomorrow, for a future without deadly childhood cancer and without burdensome long-term effects.
For more than 30 years, we have pursued one goal: no child should die from cancer. Research is the powerful foundation for this.
Why your allocation is well invested with us
With around 275,000 new cases per year worldwide (source: IARC/WHO), childhood cancer is considered a rare disease and is therefore not sufficiently addressed by industrial research. As a recognized non-profit foundation under civil law, we conduct research to close this gap. Cancer remains the most common disease-related cause of death in children. We want to change that — with your support.

Important information for obligated payers
You have been instructed by a court or public prosecutor’s office to pay a fine or penalty to the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer.
Please note the following important information:
- To ensure timely and correct allocation and confirmation to the court:
-
- Please include the full case reference number of the court with your payment
- Please use only the designated account for penalty payments
We report incoming payments — as well as payment delays — to the responsible authorities. Please help ensure smooth processing in your own interest.
-
- We are not permitted to issue donation receipts for fines or penalty payments. Please do not use “donation” as the payment reference.
- We as a foundation do not decide on installment plans or payment deadlines. For such questions, please contact the responsible court.
Perhaps it is a comforting thought that your allocation enables important research projects — projects that can save the lives of children with cancer and give them a carefree future.
