People who give hope a voice

Our ambassadors use their personal influence, their reach and their dedication to help create a better future for children with cancer.

Our ambassadors:

They stand by our side, raising awareness of our work and highlighting the importance of research, support and compassion to the public’s attention. Every ambassador brings their own story, motivation and perspective – strengthening our mission in a unique way.

Margit Susan Lieverz

Ambassador with heart and voice for childhood cancer research

Margit Susan Lieverz has been a dedicated volunteer ambassador for the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer since December 2025. A dynamic personality, she works as a speaker, media trainer, presenter and actress, and is also a published author. At the same time, she is deeply committed to supporting children with cancer.

Her motivation

“I support the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer because research means hope – hope for a cure, for the future, and for a carefree life for children and their families.”

Margit Lieverz combines social responsibility with a strong, authentic voice. She is committed to ensuring that the importance of childhood cancer research is recognised, understood and supported. Through her presence and empathy, she draws attention to issues that are often overlooked – and gives children and their families much-needed visibility. Already an ambassador for the Bundesverband Kinderhospiz e. V. (Federal Association of Children’s Hospices). she is now also supporting the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer.

“These two extremes – volunteering where children have to take their final journey, and now here, where research is being carried out to prevent exactly that –move me deeply. Giving children hope for a carefree future is something that deserves our full supported!”

– Margit Susan Lieverz

Alexander Kahl

Our ambassador with strength, passion and conviction for childhood cancer research

Multiple German champion and internationally successful foil fencer Alexander Kahl combines sporting excellence with social commitment. He has been an ambassador for our foundation since February 2026. With the same determination that sets him apart on the piste, he advocates for the future prospects of children facing serious illness.

His motivation

“As an athlete, I know what it means to fight. That is why I’m all the more impressed by the dedication of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer. During my visit to the research institute, I saw the passion and enthusiasm with which everyone works – from the biologists right up to the management. This inspiring atmosphere shows that this is about much more than just work; it’s about giving hope to the children affected and their families.“

As a role model for dedication and a strong voice for children with cancer, he strengthens our mission and brings his energy, visibility and big heart to the work of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer.

I am proud to be part of this team as an ambassador!”

– Alexander Kahl
