Generous donation from the Julian Foundation boosts childhood cancer research

The Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Julian Foundation for its generous donation of €42,500. This significant support will make an important contribution to the further development of our childhood cancer research and thus to improving the chances of recovery for young patients.

The Julian Foundation is committed to alleviating suffering among children and young people – a cause that is particularly relevant to our work. Sustainable progress in research means hope for affected children and their families for a carefree future in good health and without long-term consequences.

During the donation ceremony, our guests Mr Schröcker and Mr Rückziegel from the Julian Foundation were also given an insight into our research work on site.
Prof. Dr Dirk Heckl, Head of EPHO, personally guided them through the laboratories and explained current research approaches and the importance of modern leukaemia research for the treatment of cancer in children and adolescents.

We would like to thank the Julian Foundation for their trust and valuable support. Together, we are committed to ensuring that childhood cancer will one day be curable for everyone and lose its terror.
