Supporting as a Foundation

We share the same heartbeat — our commitment to an important cause. Together, we can make a real difference.

Does your foundation focus on any of the following areas?

  • Science and research
  • Health and medicine
  • Children and youth
  • Family
  • Education and talent development

Then we should talk.

Together, we will identify a project that aligns with your foundation’s mission and creates lasting impact.

What defines our partnership

We understand that foundations have special requirements regarding transparency, documentation, and impact measurement. That’s why we shape every partnership to be:

  • Individual – tailored to your foundation’s purpose
  • Reliable – with clear structures and dedicated contacts
  • Transparent – with regular reports and insights into our research
  • Sustainable – with projects that create long‑term impact

Funding opportunities for foundations:

1. Unrestricted funding – strengthening research where it is needed most

Unrestricted contributions allow us to respond quickly and flexibly to urgent needs in our research house — from essential lab equipment and maintenance work to research staff or basic consumables. A non‑profit research institution has many expenses and limited funding.

2. Designated funding – support projects or programs, that contribute to direct impact for children with cancer

You can also support specific research projects. Our scientists are happy to present current projects upon request.

We conduct research on:

  • Understanding the specific characteristics of childhood cancer
  • Childhood cancers with low survival rates (e.g., AML, solid tumors)
  • Identifying targets for effective and gentle therapies of tomorrow (immunotherapy, gene therapy, personalized medicine)

We are committed to:

  • Supporting young researchers in pediatric oncology (internships, master’s theses, PhD projects)
  • STEM education for school students
  • Providing training positions in administration for affected young people

Why your support is so important

With around 275,000 new cases per year worldwide (source: IARC/WHO), childhood cancer is considered a rare disease — and therefore receives too little attention from the pharmaceutical industry. Alongside academic research, we are committed to advancing pediatric oncology as a non‑profit organization.

With your foundation, you can:

  • Accelerate the development of new therapies with better outcomes and fewer long term effects
  • Contribute to a future without deadly childhood cancer
  • Help ensure that children can hope for a future free from late effects
  • Become part of our mission: Research helps cure
